Everyone at Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd was sad to say our final farewells to Sue Williams today at her funeral (Aug 8th 2018).
Sue worked for us from 2006 to 2018 and was a much loved and valued member of our team.
We will always remember her laughter and smiles. The room used to light up when Sue walked through the door.
She will be sadly missed by all her colleagues and clients.
We are pleased to announce that Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd has been trading since June 1996. That makes us 21 this month. We are happy to have provided quality care services and local employment opportunities to a great many individuals over the years, and we hope to still be providing the same level of care and employment over the next 21 years. We’d like to thank all our past and present staff for their commitment to their roles within the community and to all the support the local authority and community have given us over the years.
Well done to members of our care staff who took part today on our latest Health and Safety training session and to our new recruits on induction for taking part. The training was presented by Mrs Patricia Stubbs.
Pictured are our latest staff to take part in our Dementia Information sessions to achieve their Dementia Friends Badges. We’re placing all our staff on these sessions to help to reduce the stigma surrounding people living with dementia.
It is with deepest regret that we have to inform you that Mr Philip Michael Osbiston (Michael Phillips) sadly passed away on Friday 20th January after a long period of ill health.
Mr Osbiston established Michael Phillips Care Agency back in June 1996 and retired from active input following a period of ill health in 2001. He was a good friend and business man and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Ms.Karen Hughes (Managing Director)

Today I would like to congratulate Miss Lydia Hughes on becoming our new CSSIW Registered Responsible Individual at Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd.
Lydia has been working here since she was just 14 years old, and had achieved her position of company Finance Manager for her hard work over the last 12 years. She, like all our employees within the company, is an asset and we are all very proud of her to have gained this position at such a young age.
Lydia is pictured with our Registered Manager Ms. Karen Hughes.
Marie kindly agreed to model one of our latest tunics today.
If you want to order yours, come and have a look at the sample in the office. We chose deep red to keep to our company colours and so as not to confuse any clients. Along with the latest red polo shirts, you should be able to spot our staff easily.
We are currently recruiting so why not give us a call on 01745-350923.
This week we had our latest copiers and printers installed by OES Office Equipment Systems Ltd in Denbigh. We’ve already run a 3 year contract and were very happy with the quality of their service and the machines. Being local is a bonus too, they can respond quickly in the event of any problems and are always professional and polite.
We’d recommend them to any local businesses and wish them every success in their expanding business.
Today our Managing Director (Ms Karen Hughes) and our Quality Representative (Mrs Trish Hughes) took Millie our office dog to visit the team at St Kentigern Hospice in St Asaph.
We recently arranged a sponsored Dog Walk to support our local hospice and were pleased today to be able to present them with a cheque for £431.50.
We had a lovely day on Sunday 31st July with around 18 dogs on the walk. You can see some of the photo’s here that we took on the day.
We’d like to once again thank everyone who took part on the day of the walk, or donated money.
