Today we received a lovely gift from one of our service users Mrs.Taylor as a thank you for all the support and help she receives from her carers and the help she gets from the office. We’d like to thank Mrs.Taylor and promise not to over indulge this Easter.
Social Media Training day
On Tuesday 8th April, Miss Lydia Hughes (Finance Manager) and Ms.Karen Hughes (Managing Director) attended a Social Media Training day run by Amanda Daniels of Koogar Digital Marketing. www.koogar.co.uk
The content of the course was very interesting and although we already use some Social Media within our business, we learnt so much more from Amanda. We’d recommend this course to anyone interested in using Social Media platforms within their business.
Jobs Fayre Success
Today we can be found at Rhyl Town Hall jobs fayre on Wellington Road, Rhyl. If you are looking to enter the health sector, or are hoping to move to a new employer in the care sector, come along and have an informal chat. Meeting with the Federation of Small Businesses
Today I met with Mr.John Fergus from the Federation of Small Businesses. Congratulations and many thanks to Ms.Belinda Ward on completing her first 10 years service. Belinda started her career here as a home care support worker and has evolved through training and promotion to her current role as one of our Care Managers. Employment Law Seminar
On Friday 24th January our Managing Director (Ms.Karen Hughes) HR Officer (Mr.Garry Stamford) and Finance Manager (Miss.Lydia Hughes) attended an update seminar with Pensinsula Business Services at Ruthin Castle Hotel. The speaker was Mrs.Amanda Chadwick, a highly respected broadcaster and international speaker covering a wide number of subjects.
We covered many topics throughout the day and found the content of the seminar beneficial as always. We’ve been a Peninsula customer for around 7 years now and are always keen to keep up to date with all the employment law developments relevent to our business.
Christmas dinners all round….
Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd are delighted to announce that this year Ms.Belinda Ward has arranged for many of our elderly and lonely clients to receive a freshly cooked three course Christmas Dinner on Christmas day. The meals will be cooked and supplied by Front Room in Rhyl and delivered personally by Belinda Ward. We’d like to congratulate Belinda for her dedication to ensuring many of our lonely clients don’t go without a Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day and I’m sure those receiving them would like to extend the same gratitude to both Belinda and Front room.
