Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd were pleased to be invited to the launch of the new “Fit for Work Service” last Wednesday 30th June at the Town Hall in Rhyl . The “Fit for Work Service is an innovative new project to encourage individual employee’s to return to work sooner following sickness under the new Fit for Work note provided by their GP.
Excellence in Care Award 2010
Patricia Connery, an employee of Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd since April 2007 has been awarded the Gail Brannan ‘Excellence in Care’ Award for 2010.
Patricia’s dedication and commitment to her work was paramount in her being chosen for this award.

Our Environmental Responsibilities
Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd is proud to announce that with the professional services provided by Seven Ways Environmental Services Ltd, we are now able to recycle our commercial waste on a weekly basis. As with many smaller businesses, we had a problem in relation to our daily cardboard, foils and other recyclable waste products. I first met Chris Robertson of Seven Ways, on Friday last week, and we took delivery of our secured wheelie bin on Monday. The speed at which he dealt with our individual needs for confidentiality and security are why we would recommend their services to other similar businesses in Wales. Damian Plant Visits Our Office
Today, Damian Plant visited the office at Michael Phillips Care Agency Ltd. Having met Damian in recent weeks at the office, and having studied his weblog at http://damianplant.wordpress.com/ we decided to create a link within our pages as it contains a vast amount of interesting information, especially for the physically disabled among us. NWT Carer of the Year Awards 2009 Winners
Julie Lewis and Sarah Harrison, both NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care qualified, were nominated by NWT for the Carer of the Year Award having completed their NVQ’s with them early this year. Heart FM launch breakfast
Karen (Managing Director) and Jayne (Senior Care Manager) were happy to support the breakfast launch of Heart FM on 22nd June at Bodelwyddan Castle.
